Problem + Outcome
Students and faculty at SIAT face challenges with issue reporting, making it difficult for students to communicate and for faculty to address recurring problems effectively.
An issue-reporting platform optimized for web and mobile that supports community-driven problem-solving — enabling students to submit issues while giving faculty clearer insight.
Starting Out
Analysis of Single Post
Reviewing Reddit posts showed the importance of searchability, authorship, and interactive discussion. These features reduced duplicate issues and encouraged community engagement around a single topic.

Analysis of User Profile
Analysis of user profiles highlighted the value of identity and engagement feedback. Displaying user information alongside categorized posts, multiple viewing formats, and visible upvote metrics supports transparency while allowing users to efficiently review their activity.

Mapped User Story
To better understand the user experience, we created a mapped user story outlining how SIAT students could theoretically report issues within our platform. I helped shape the overall structure of this user journey, ensuring it clearly visualized the full process from identifying a concern to receiving feedback that reflected realistic student needs and behaviors.

Interactive Information Structure
An interactive breakdown showing how reports, responses, and updates circulate within the platform, illustrating the relationship between students, faculty, and the system interface. I helped define how information flows between users and the system to ensure the reporting and response process felt transparent and intuitive.
Building a Shared Foundation
Our team created a Figma-based design system to support and streamline the design of our web and mobile experiences. I contributed to developing reusable components and visual standards, helping maintain consistency across pages.
